
Shells with Ham & Bernaise Sauce
1 LB. BOX SHELLS
3 C COOKED, CUBED HAM
2 C FROZEN PEAS & CARROTS
1 STICK OF BUTTER
1 PKG MCCORMACK BRAND BEARNAISE SEASONING MIX
1 C WATER
1/2 TSP PEPPER
DIRECTIONS:
Cook pasta according to package directions. With three minutes remaining, add the frozen peas and carrots.
Meanwhile, in stock pot mel the butter over medium high heat. Add water and bearnaise sauce and stir. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes stirring often.
Drain shells, peas and carrots and place back in pan. place ham in pot with pasta and cover with bearnaise sauce and pepper and stir. Serve immediately.
Note: McCormack bearnaise seasoning mix for testing purposes only.
The ham and bearnaise sauce has plenty of salt so you will not need to add any. However, if you want to add anything addition, try a teaspoon of freshly snipped dill to freshen it up a bit. |
